One PIL seeking marital rape to be criminalized is pending in Delhi High Court. This is seeking forceful sexual intercourse by men to be considered as rape. Currently even though it is considered as an offense, it is not considered as a criminal offense like rape. With this news spreading out, marriages in India has started breaking down. A woman wrote a letter to The Male Factor, accusing us of creating this fear in men. But the truth remains, how will marital rape cases be judged or this is only eyewash?
